Week 99 – First State Side Halloween

HEYEYEYEYEY!!! This week was spooky! So crazy, so many nice gifts. I don’t have much time so I’ll explain these pictures and a few cool things that happened each day.

Monday we carved pumpkins as a district. It was a super cute activity and I really enjoyed it. Got some ribs, salad and mint brownies from our awesome ward mission leader. So nice. Then we got some wassell from the Wilkensons. Good stuff.
Tuesday we had an amazing zone conference. So nice! Then we participated in a ward drive by trunk or treat. Super fun, super cute, a lot of sugar. Bags of candy and homemade carmeled apple.
Wednesday we helped out at a food bank. Made shopping carts full of food. Got a box, literal box, of ice cream. Then I made a magic water bottle. Fun stuff…
Thursday I made my cake. We accedentily turned on the rotisserie temperature to 350, so the oven burned the top of the cake. We went tracting in the evening and found a super funny pumpkin. We also spent some time with our mission president’s first Councilor. Super fun.
Friday we helped a member rake her leaves in her front yard. Called my Mom, wished her a happy birthday. Also met a few of my sister’s friends.
Saturday we had a zone Blitz in our district. So much fun to work with another missionary. The members that we live with gave me a super warm jacket. SO SWEET OF THEM!! Got some Domino’s from Elder Staheli’s family for Halloween dinner. Then we cleaned our cottage for Halloween night.
Sunday we had an amazing stake conference in the morning. We visited a friend that the missionaries had met a few months ago. She gave us some really good Norwegian Chocolate. So good. Then Elder Staheli’s Sister made me an anime character. So funny!
Anyway, this week was awesome. We got transfer calls, so you will see what happened to me next week. See you then!
Con amor,
El Gringo CR
