Week 65

Good afternoon to all those reading this in the afternoon!
This week was a long, hard week!

AHHHHHH! So hard! We walked, we talked, we sweat a bunch and we got tired. But overall it was an okay week.

We had zone meeting on P-day. A lot of fun to have a meeting as a zone! I stayed the night and worked the next day in Saenz Peña. One of my Zone Leaders and I (Elder Beckstrand) enjoyed our time in the sun, burning a bit. We visited members and investigators. We also tried to find a place where we can make zone jerseys. Sadly it was closed. But we hope to make them soon! That night we took a bus to Las Breñas. But, after one of our stops, in Campo Largo, our bus broke. It was 10:00 at night and the mechanic was an hour away. So called the Elders in Campo Largo to see if we could stay the night. They didn’t have enough mattresses in there pension, but there were two in the church. So we slept in the church that night.

The following morning Elder Dowdle and Elder Tolman (our other Zone Leader) came to pick me up. Elder Dowdle and I took the 8 bus to our area, got there at 9:30 and started working. We contacted a lot. Not much success. We had a family home evening at a members house though! So much fun! We made Waffles! Elder Dowdle has an iron! So much fun!

One of these nights (Friday nightat 12:00 in the morning, I woke up with my face really wet. In the moonlight from our window, I could see liquid dripping onto my white sheets. The liquid made the sheets a bit black. So I covered my nose and ran to the bathroom. I flipped the lights on and found my face painted with blood. I almost fainted right there. I turned the sink water on and washed my hands off as more blood surged out of my nose. So crazy! I was so nauseous and ready to faint. I quickly finished washing my face and grabbed a paper towel. Then I ran to my bed, laid down and put my legs on the wall. I stuffed some paper up my nose and after a few minutes I felt so much better. Then I went back to the bathroom and finished washing my face. Then I pulled out the paper and put some more in. Then I went to bed. SO MUCH FUN!!!

On Saturday we found a house full of Evangelicos. We were there for a good 30 minutes just comparing our interpretations of the Bible. They just kept on laughing at us and telling us that we needed to repent and come unto Christ. It was . . . interesting. I learned a lot and received an even greater testimony of the truth of our message.

I know that God has called men on earth to be HIS leaders to continue to reveal more truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. I know that the authority of God has been restored once again. I know The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It testifies of the same Christ in the Bible, He lives and loves us.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Church of Jesus Christ. He leads and guides us.

God lives
